Welcome to the Year 6 Transition page. We are delighted that you have chosen Axe Valley Academy and are working hard to ensure your child has the best possible start to their time with us.
Application details
It is important you make your application by visiting:

or by contacting them on 0345 155 1019 to request a hard copy application form.
It is important that if you wish to apply for a place at our school, you complete the application form by midnight on the 31st October 2025.

YEAR 6 – YEAR 7 TRANSITION
31st October 2025 – Deadline for applications
18th - 22nd May 2026 - Teacher Meetings
1st - 5th June - Primary School Visits
30th June 2026 – Small Schools Day
Additional day, usually for those schools sending 3 students or less.
30th June 2026 – Transition Evening
For ALL students and parents.
1st July 2026 – Main Transition Day
For ALL students.
