Year 7, 8 and 9 Curriculum
In Key Stage 3 students study Art, Computing, Design Technology, Drama, English, Food, French , Geography, History, Maths, Music, PE, PSHE, RE, Science and Spanish. For an insight into the content of each subject, please refer to the Essential Knowledge book which is given to all KS3 students.
In Key Stage 3, we grade students against a trust-wide Expected Standard that matches their age and stage. The possible grades are: Working Towards Foundation; Foundation; At the Expected Standard; Greater Depth; and Mastery. These booklets outline the meaning of each grade for each subject to help you find out really specifically what level of expertise your child has shown across Key Stage 3 subjects.
